I plan to publish -- if life permits -- a new installment of about 2-3,000 words every Saturday for three weeks in a row, and then skip one week for research and revisions. Hopefully, we will have finished the first book at a good place in 12-18 months. 

 In the first few months, I will be writing the prologue to give the snapshots of the world in 1884 through dramatization of several real-life figures based on, where available, memoirs. Much of the content will be pulled verbatim, in order to maintain as much authenticity as possible. These will probably include, but not limited to, Wilfrid Blunt, Sayyid Jamal ad-Din al-Afghani, Jose Marti, Frederick Douglass, Fukuzawa Yukichi, Albert Parsons, and Ida B Wells -- most, if not all, will make appearances in the main story later. 

Please bear in mind that this is a work of fiction in progress with, as usual, plenty of mistakes, gaps and discrepancies, so please kindly take it as a first draft. If you feel compelled that something should be corrected or included, please leave a comment. And if you have written something about the year 1884, I will be happy to know and, if wished, post a link to it. Thank you.
